I’ve had 17 addresses in 30 years—from University Avenue in Montreal to Bolshoi Prospekt in St. Petersburg—but grew up mostly in Chicago. Previously, I’ve worked at a middle school in Memphis, a travel guidebook writer in the Yucatan, a state representative campaign staffer in Peoria, and one of the guys who shout “PEANUTS!” at Wrigley Field.
I graduated with a BA in Government from Harvard in 2010 and an MPP from the University of Chicago in 2015, and have also been enrolled as an undergrad at McGill University in Montreal and St. Petersburg State University in Russia.
Eve Ewing once said that I “love Chicago with a fierce and wonky heart.”
